How do we describe Life Church? What is Life Church like?
Life Church is a bridge - a bridge between people and God.
Life Church is a Charismatic/Pentecostal revival/renewal, small group, family-focused worship center, but it may be easier to describe Life Church by telling you what you will NOT find at Life Church.
At Life Church, you will NOT find church politics running and ruining everything overtly or covertly. Far too many have been hurt and disconnected from a church due to church politics and the strife it can gender. We have determined to model New Testament church government that genders trust, vulnerability and unity.
At Life Church, you will NOT find us presenting a God Who 'was' or Who 'will be.' We present God Who was, will be and 'is.' In other words, He is all and everything His Word says He is and His Promises have no expiration dates. If He showed Himself to be a healer of disease and brokenness, He remains to be that same healer and restorer. Our messages and doctrine does not teach a God Who has diminished capacity or willingness to be all that His Word describes Him to be.
At Life Church, you will NOT find 'membership' in the traditional sense. You cannot just join a church like you join an organization because the church 'has' organization but is an 'organism' - not simply an institution. The Bible says that it is like a family, the Father's family in Heaven and the Earth. Therefore, rather than presenting the traditional membership, we offer 'Mutual Adoption.' It's a family thing and families are 'organically' connected for life.
At Life Church, you will NOT find that we are more concerned about your dollars than we are about your discipleship. In other words, the Word we preach will probably offend you but not just for the sake of offending. We will not adapt or water-down the Word of God so the Truth doesn't upset you.
At Life Church, you will NOT find exclusion but you will find inclusion. Our doors are open to anyone and everyone. Our love is color-blind, unconcerned about social barriers and is the true test of our spirituality.
At Life Church, you will NOT find us competing with or disregarding any other church or minister. We are all on the same 'team' fighting a common 'enemy.' When another church prospers, we prosper and our community benefits. We are a part of the Church of God (Cleveland, TN) , but our affiliation carries no restrictions with how we view people in need and carry out our mission.

The 7 P’s
Our faith includes, among other things, the ‘7 P’s.’ The 7 P’s stand for: Presence; Prayer; Power; Passion; Prosperity; Prophetic; Purity.
Presence - Some call it revival. Some call it renewal. Some call it awakening. After all is said and done, it is the felt and real Presence of God that iluminates His Word and transforms life.
Programs are great, but historical evidence verifies that when God’s Presence increases in the life of His children and I geographic locations, individuals, families and communities are never the same.
Prayer – God draws near when we seek for Him. A praying person is a hungry person: hungry for God and not just for His blessings. Prayerlessness is the height of pride and independence. Prayerfulness is the most powerful posture because it is the posture of humility and dependence on God alone for being our Source for all things of life and righteousness.
Power - In the Bible, we find that God’s Power relates to legitimate, Heaven-endorsed authority and God’s unlimited ability in operation. We are engaged in spiritual warfare even though the forces of darkness were defeated (2000 years ago).
God promised and provided more-than-adequate power (supernatural abilities) to rout and resist all of the attacks and schemes of the enemy. God’s Power heals, breaks addictions and brings the Kingdom of God to bear upon ordinary, everyday life.
Passion - Jesus was passionate about the Father, His Kingdom and people – all people. That continues to be our example and standard. Jesus looked at a greatly varied group of people in Galilee and was moved with compassion. He was not moved with disgust by whom or what He saw: He is color-blind, you know.
Outside the walls of the church, there are no enemies, just people: people who have the right to hear the Good News and experience Jesus’ love, just like so many others have.
Prosperity - The 23rd Psalm is one of the greatest treatises on Scriptural prosperity. Prosperity is not for imbalanced, self gratification but is for the advancement of God’s interests and His Kingdom here on the Earth.
Prophetic – The prophetic anointing is active and continues to function for edification and renewal. The five-fold ascension ministry gifts are relevant and in operation at Life Church.
Purity – A life of devotion to God also involves striving for purity in all areas of conversation, behavior and thoughts. There is a standard in the Bible for the Christian lfie and the standard is purity and holiness.
